Mercury, the planet of communication is retrograde October 12-November 2, 2007. During this cycle, there are delays in communications and more misunderstandings than usual. Mercury also rules the mind, mental processes, and travel. While it’s a fruitful time to rethink and reassess, it’s not the best time to negotitate contracts.

Mars, planet of energy, assertion and aggression is in the sign of Cancer currently, firing up all Crabs. In an interesting cosmic coincidence, Joe Torre, Brain Cashman and George Steinbrenner are all born under the sign of Cancer, making them even more emotionally sensitive and cautious during this time.
